Ignoring Friendly Third-Party Devices 481Ignoring FriendlyThird-Party DevicesBy default, when countermeasures are enabled, MSS considers anythird-party transmitter to be a rogue device and can sendcountermeasures to prevent clients from using that device. To preventMSS from sending countermeasures against a friendly device, add thedevice to the ignore list.Each WX switch has its own ignore list. You can add an address to theignore list of one or multiple switches.To add a device to the ignore list1 In the list of rogues on the Alarm screen, select the devices you want toadd to the ignore list.2 Click Add to Ignore List in the Task List panel. The Select Devices toCreate Ignore list dialog is displayed.3 If the switch(es) on which you are configuring the ignore list are in aMobility Domain, select the Mobility Domain. Otherwise, select None.4 Click Next to select to select all of the switches that are listed, or clickNext to individual switches to select them.5 Click OK. The devices are added to the ignore list and disappear from thelist of rogues in the Alarm screen.
