See Application Guideline 24 for PIDinformation.(2) The following is an example of how to adjust the RX Bias/Gain:Suppose dancer output is 1-5 volts. Set the micro switch next to the phone jack on the control board in the‘5” position. Suppose that the dancer output voltage when the dancer is in the desired position is 2.5volts. 2.5/5.0 = 0.50 or 50 percent. Enter 50 into RX Reference Setting Point #1 (FREQUENCYSETTING PARAMETERS group). After the following Super User programming is done, the drivewill automatically adjust its output frequency to maintain the dancer’s output voltage (and thereforeposition) at 2.5 volts. With the RX Bias/Gain programmed as above, the drive will increase its output frequency whenthe dancer voltage is above 2.5 volts; it will decrease its output frequency whenever the dancer voltageis below 2.5 volts. If this relationship is the opposite of what is desired for a particular dancer, programRX Reference Point #2 Frequency (FREQUENCY SETTING PARAMETERS group) to ‘-60’. Nowthe drive will increase its output frequency whenever the dancer voltage is below 2.5 volts anddecrease its output frequency whenever the dancer voltage is above 2.5 volts. |
