(Compact Flash is not available for the SIREC D200recorder).External USB Devices• The SIREC D300 and the SIREC D400 recorders have two USB host ports, one front andone at the rear. The SIREC D200 recorder has one front USB Host and another USB portavailable as an option at the rear. The USB ports can be used for attaching external USBdevices such as a keyboard, mouse or a USB data storage key. The keyboard and mousecan be used to navigate the recorder’s screen along with text entry.Remote Viewer• This is a firmware option that extends the user interface of the recorder onto the desktopPC. Providing remote viewing of the unit launched from a web browser. Full remote controlis available as an option which is password protected to prevent unauthorized access.Compatible with Microsoft™ Internet explorer 6 and higher.Security• Total Data Integrity - data is stored in secure encrypted files making it easy to retrieve thedata dependent on process information. Events are certainconditions or operations which can be set up and logged according to the time and date ofthe occurrence. For example, set up a cause such as Pen1 going into an alarm state and the effect of this could be to start a totaliser or acknowledgethe alarm.BatchThe Batch function allows the user to segment portions of data for further analysis. Batchenhances the management of data collected in a non-continuous process, known as batchprocessing, used in thermal treatment, sterilisation, food processing and chemical reactions.Batches are controlled with command lines entered into the recorder, these include Start,Stop, Pause, Resume and Abort batch.
