The following paragraphs describe how to enter the new configuration. After thechanges have been completed, the changes should be saved.Configuration options are described in the order they appear on the WAGSetup.CFG configurationscreens (Configuration Menu).2.6.1 Type 7 ATCS AddressThe WAG can be assigned both Type 7 and Type 3 ATCS addresses. This enables the WAG tohandle any ATCS message of either type that it sees. See paragraph 2.6.2 for directions onchanging Type 3 addresses.Changing the Type 7 ATCS address lets the user specify the Type 7 ATCS address for the WAG onthe network. The Type 7 address for each unit uses the field wayside equipment ATCS addressformat 7.RRR.LLL.GGG.SS.DD. The address segments are as follows:RRR The railroad number.LLL Line Segment designation.GGG A unique number for each group within that line segment.SS Sub-node Field used to further differentiate traffic within a group to an individual device.DD Device Field used to further differentiate traffic internally in the equipment being addressed.Make sure that a unique and valid Type 7 ATCS address is configured for each piece of equipmentused on the network.To Assign Type 7 ATCS Address:1.
