The following MMC’s related to IP and MGI set up must be programmed MMC 830.System IP Address for MP10/MP10a.Configure the MP10/MP10a with the relevant IP information:• Assign IP Address, Default Gateway, and Subnet Mask, then restart the systemfor the changes to take effect.• Select IP type (private, public, or private with public) and assign public IP ifapplicable.MMC 831. MGI PARAMETERSNote: If you are using the on-board MGI channels, this is a “Read-Only” MMC. Thesettings here will be the same as MMC 830.Configure the MGI card with the relevant IP information:• Assign IP Address, Default Gateway, Subnet Mask for each MGI card, thenrestart the MGI card/s for the changes to take effect. Card can be reset using thereset option in MMC 831.• Select IP type (private, public, or private with public) and assign public IP ifapplicable.MMC 835. MGI DSP OptionsConfigure the MGI card with the relevant IP information:• AUDIO CODEC must be set for G.729A in each node for IP networkingMMC 615. MGI Use GroupAdd the IP trunk members (MGI Channels) for the VoIP Networking function.1. USER field should be set to “VoIP Networking”. Select the IP trunk members forthis function. Each IP trunk represents an MGI channel.MMC 616. MGI Fixed UserIf needed you can use this MMC to permanently dedicate MGI channels for aspecific function. These settings will over-ride the functional assignments in MMC615. For example, you can assign channels 3801 and 3802 to always be used onlyfor the “VoIP Networking” function.
