In the Table 2 example the eight port MGIcard will be segregated to allow the first four ports to be used for ITP keyphones andthe last four ports as VoIP trunking gateway ports all on a private network. The otherservices are not used so they are removed for clarity.Table 2: MGI programmed assignmentsMGI PORT/ MEMBERMGI NUMBER PLANLOCAL ITP GROUPMEMBER MMC 615PUBLIC ITP GROUPMEMBER MMC 615ITP STATIONNUMBER PLAN IDXMMC 724VOIP NETWORKGROUP MEMBERMMC 615PUBLIC IP NETWRKGROUP MEMBERMMC 615VOIP NETWORKNUMBER PLANIDX MMC 724VOIP TRUNKMEMBER MMC 615PUBLIC VOIP TRUNKMEMBER MMC 615VOIP TRUNKNUMBER PLAN IDXMMC 724SIP TRUNK NUMBERPLAN IDX MMC 7243801 3801 3801 32013802 3802 3802 32023803 3803 3803 32033804 3804 3804 32043805 3805 3205 3805 84053806 3806 3206 3806 84063807 3807 3207 3807 84073808 3808 3208 3808 8408*SIP trunks are VoIP Trunk members in MMC 615: MGI Group. In the above numbering plan example there is a one to one relationship of availableMGI ports and ITP keyphones.Further refinement to the numbering plan assignments can be made by adding theVoIP trunks to a specific trunk group.
