28 EnglishGas ovenGas ovenOther featuresTemperature probeThe temperature probe lets you cook roasts and poultry to the exact internaltemperature you want, taking the guess work out of determining whether a pieceof meat is done or not.You can use the temperature probe with the oven set to Bake, Convection Bake,Pro Convection or Convection Roast. When you use the temperature probe,the internal temperature is shown on the display when it reaches 100 °F.1. Push the temperature probe into themeat so that the tip of the probereaches the center of the meat.• When you insert the temperatureprobe, make sure it does notcontact bone, fat, or gristle.• For bone-in meats, insert the probeinto the center of the lowest andthickest portion of the piece.• For whole poultry (turkey, largechickens, etc.), insert the probe intothe thickest part of the inner thigh,parallel to the leg.• If you activate Keep Warm aftercooking is complete using thetemperature probe, the meat’sinternal temperature will exceedyour initial settings.• If you remove the temperatureprobe while cooking is in process,the oven shuts off in 60 seconds.• The temperature probe may notfunction properly if inserted intofrozen food. (The temperatureprobe icon will not appear.)Keep WarmKeeps cooked food warm at a low temperature up to 3 hours.1. Place the container with the food on arack, and then close the door.2. Set the temperature selector knob tothe OFF position.3. Turn the mode selector knob from OFFto the Keep Warm position.4.
