3 – Managing FabricsSecuring a Fabric3-16 59097-02 BS3.2.4.7Editing the Security Configuration on a SwitchTo edit a security configuration on the switch, do the following:1. On the faceplate display, click the Security button on the toolbar, or openthe Security menu and select Edit Security to open the Edit Security dialog.By default, the security configuration on the switch is displayed in the EditSecurity dialog. To edit a security configuration saved to a file, open the Filemenu and select Open File, or press Ctrl+o (letter o) to open the Opendialog. Browse for and select the security file, and click the Open button todisplay the security file in the Edit Security dialog.2. Select the security item to edit in the graphic window, and choose one of thefollowing: Rename a Security Set, or Group. Open the Edit menu and select aRename option. In the Rename dialog, enter a new name and click theOK button to save the changes. Edit Security Group Member. Open the Edit menu and select a EditSecurity Group Member option. In the Edit Security Group Memberdialog, enter a new Group Member (WWN), choose an option in theAuthentication pull-down menu, and click the OK button to save thechanges. Remove a Security Set, Group, or Member. Select the item toremove, open the Edit menu and select a Remove option. In theRemove dialog, click the OK button to remove that item from thesecurity file and save the changes. Clear Security. Select the Security Sets directory name, open the Editmenu and select Clear Security. In the Remove dialog, click the OKbutton to remove all security sets and save the changes. You can alsoright-click on the Security Sets (top level) directory name, and selectClear Security from the popup menu, and click the OK button toremove all security sets.3. Click the Apply button to save the changes and keep the Edit Securitydialog open. To save changes and close the Edit Security dialog in one step,click the OK button.4. Click the OK button to close the Edit Security dialog.
