69DVD-Audio, DVD-Video or JPEG discs.When available, Simply press theRandom Button z to enter Randommode (a banner will appear on screen),and again to exit Random mode.Audio CDs: You may enter or exitRandom mode either while the disc isplaying, or after play has been stopped bypressing the Stop Button #wtwice.VCDs: Random mode is only available inStop mode, after play has been stoppedby pressing the Stop Button #wtwice.MP3 and WMA discs: You may enter orexit Random mode either while the discis playing, or after play has been stoppedby pressing the Stop Button #wtwice.The Random Indicator C will lightwhen the CVR700 is in Random mode.Repeat PlayThe CVR700 offers several repeat optionsthat allow for unattended playback, evenon a continuous basis. There are two basictypes of Repeat modes: conventionalRepeat, which allows you to repeat discsand their existing subdivisions; andRepeat A-B, in which a passage youselect is repeated. The available Repeatmodes will vary depending on the typeof disc.The conventional Repeat modes areaccessed by repeatedly pressing theRepeat Button ` to cycle through theavailable modes or exit Repeat mode.DVDs: The conventional Repeat modesare only available while the disc is play-ing. Each press of the Repeat Button` will cycle through the ChapterRepeat On, Title Repeat On and RepeatOff modes.Audio CDs: The available conventionalRepeat modes vary depending on whetherthe disc is in Play mode or Stop mode.While a disc is playing, each press of theRepeat Button ` will cycle throughthe Repeat One Track, Repeat All Tracks,Repeat All Discs and Repeat Off settings,as displayed on screen in a banner andon the front panel. The selected Track ordisc will be repeatedly played until playis stopped, or the Repeat mode is exited.In Repeat All Discs mode, if the CVR700detects a DVD in a succeeding tray, itwill play it, but it will automatically endRepeat mode.In Stop mode, only the Repeat AllTracks and Repeat All Discs modesare available.VCDs: The conventional Repeat modesare only available in Stop mode. As withaudio CDs, only the Repeat All Tracks andRepeat All Discs modes are available.MP3 and WMA discs: The conventionalRepeat modes are available in both Playand Stop modes. Unlike other disc types,the folders and files on a compressed-audio disc are displayed on screen andmay be navigated (see page 72). Thus, itis possible to program Repeat One Filemode while the disc is stopped. The otheravailable repeat modes are Repeat AllFiles (in a folder), Repeat Disc andRepeat Off.The Repeat Indicators C will light toindicate the current Repeat mode.Repeat A-BThe Repeat A-B function allows you toselect any portion of a disc (except forVCD, MP3 and WMA discs) and have itrepeat until play is stopped.While the disc is playing, when thebeginning of the desired passage isreached, press the Repeat A-B ButtonR once. A banner with the message“A to B Repeat Set A” will appear onscreen momentarily. When the end of thedesired passage is reached, press theRepeat A-B Button R once more. Themessage “A to B Repeat On” will appearbriefly.
