Vehicle Information Menu ItemDescriptionsThe following paragraphs contain a more detaileddescription of each menu item:Clock/Outside Air Temp (Navigation System): If youselect this item, the clock and outside temperaturewill be displayed at the top of the screen. The outsidetemperature will be displayed in either degreesFahrenheit or degrees Celsius depending upon whetherthe system is set for English or metric units. If youwish to change the units, see “Main Audio Menu” in theSRX Entertainment and Navigation System owner’smanual.OUTSIDE TEMP (Base Audio System): If you selectthis item, the current outside temperature is displayedat the top of the screen. It will be in either degreesFahrenheit or degrees Celsius depending upon whetherthe system is set for English or metric units. If youwish to change the units, see DIC Main Menu onpage 3-60.MI TRIP A and B/Trip Odometer A and B: Forinformation on the trip odometers, see “Trip Odometers”under Speedometer and Odometer on page 3-37.MPG AVG/Average Fuel Economy: If you select thisitem, the approximate average miles per gallon (mpg)or Liters per 100 kilometers (L/100km) is displayed.This number is calculated based on the number ofmpg (L/100km) recorded since the last time this menuitem was reset.To reset the MPG AVG using the Base audio system,press the CLR button located to the right of the screen.The display will return to zero.To reset the Average Fuel Economy using the Navigationsystem, press and hold the vehicle information button inthe upper right corner of the screen for three seconds tobring up the Vehicle Information menu. Use the up anddown arrows on the screen to select Average FuelEconomy and then touch the RESET button. Touch theRETURN button on the screen to go back to theprevious page.3-55
