The sunroof/sunshadeswitches are located in theheadliner between thedriver and front passenger.One switch operates the sunroof and the other switchoperates the sunshade.Press the back of the sunroof switch to open thesunroof. If you press the switch to the first detent thesunroof will express open to a comfort stop. Pressthe switch to the second detent to express open the roofall of the way. Press the front of the switch to closethe sunroof. The first detent will close it manually andthe second detent will express close the roof.Press the back of the sunshade switch to open thesunshade. Press the front of the switch to closethe sunshade. The sunshade can not be closed furtherthan the glass panel.Anti-Pinch FeatureIf an object is in the path of the sunroof when it isclosing, the anti-pinch feature will detect the object andstop the sunroof from closing at the point of theobstruction. The sunroof will then reverse. To close thesunroof once it has re-opened, remove the obstructionand press the front of the sunroof switch.ResynchronizationTo resynchronize the glass and sunshade, do thefollowing.1. With the engine running, press and hold thesunroof switch in the open position and thesunshade switch in the close position for sixseconds.2. Release both buttons.3. Press the sunshade switch in the close positionuntil the motor stalls in the closed position.4. Press the sunroof switch in the close position untilthe motor stalls in the closed position.2-49
