If a door isreopened before five seconds haveelapsed, the five-second timer willreset once all the doors are closedagain.Press Q on the door lock switchagain, or press Q on the RKEtransmitter, to override this featureand lock the doors immediately.Delayed locking can beprogrammed through the DriverInformation Center (DIC). SeeVehicle Personalization 0 148.Automatic Door LocksThe vehicle is programmed so thatwhen the doors are closed, theignition is on, and the shift lever ismoved out of P (Park) for automatictransmissions, or the vehicle speedis above 13 km/h (8 mph) formanual transmissions, the doorswill lock.To unlock the doors:. Press an unlock switch ona door.. For vehicles with an automatictransmission, shift thetransmission into P (Park).. For vehicles with a manualtransmission, turn the vehicle off.The power door locks can beprogrammed through the DriverInformation Center (DIC). SeeVehicle Personalization 0 148.Lockout ProtectionIf the vehicle is in ACC/ACCESSORY or ON/RUN/STARTwith the Remote KeylessEntry (RKE) transmitter in thevehicle and the power door lockswitch is pressed with the driverdoor open, all the doors will lockand only the driver door will unlock.If the vehicle is off with the RKEtransmitter in the vehicle and thepower door lock switch is pressedwith the driver door open, all thedoors will lock and only the driverdoor will unlock after closing all ofthe doors.This feature can be manuallyoverridden with the driver door openby pressing and holding Q on thepower door lock switch.Unlocked Door Anti Lock OutWhen this feature is on and doorlocking is requested with the driverdoor open, all doors will lock andonly the driver door will unlock. Thedriver door must be closed beforelocking is requested for all doors toremain locked. When this feature isoff, the Delayed Door Lock menuwill be available.This feature can also beprogrammed.
