14Cooktop ignition or hotplate burners faultyIs the power on? If not, there maybe something wrongwith the power supply.Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner slotsblocked by debris?Are the burner trim and caps correctly located? See thesection on ‘Cleaning’.Cooktop burners will not light.Make sure that the burner parts have been replacedcorrectly after wiping or removing for cleaning.Check that there is not a problem with your gassupply. You can do this by making sure that other gasappliances you may have are working.Do the burners spark when you push in the controlknob? If not, check the power is on.Cooktop burner flames are very large and yellow.Check that the burner head and caps have beenreplaced correctly after cleaning.Ensure the burner ports are not blocked. Clean using apiece of fuse wire.What cleaning materials are recommended for the range?See the ‘Cleaning’ section for recommended cleaningmaterials.n Never use caustic or abrasive cleaners as these willdamage the surface.An oven fan is noisyThe note of the oven fan may change as the oven heatsup – this is perfectly normal.If there is an installation problem and I don’t get myoriginal installer to come back to fix it who pays?You do. When a baking tray is put intothe oven, make sure that it is placed centrally on theshelf.Check that the door seal is not damaged.A dish of water when placed on the shelf should be thesame depth all over. (For example, if it is deeper at theback, then the back of the range should be raised up orthe front lowered.) If the range is not level, arrange foryour supplier to level it for you.Oven not coming onIs the power on?
