Click the button selection arrows to select the button you wantto change.Each button has its own settings. So, as you click the arrows tocycle through the buttons, the available settings on the windowchange to show them for each button.2. From the Select Destination list, select the application whereyou want documents sent when scanning is finished.See ìSelecting Options for a Buttonî on page 35 to display afull list of the Destination Applications that you can use with thescanner.3. From the Select Configuration list, select a scanconfiguration.Select a software applicationas the destination to sendscanned documents. Select a configurationfor scanning the item.Select a format forthe scanned imageClick these arrows to see theproperties for the buttonwhose settings you want tochange.NOTE: If you select a word processing program such asMicrosoft WordPad or Microsoft Word and a page format thatcan be used for OCR (such as Text, RTF, Word, or sPDF), thetext in scanned images is automatically converted to wordprocessing text.
