The main power switch, located behind the front door, controls themain power to the printer. The secondary power switch, located on the top of the printer, controls powerto the printer electronic components, and when turned off, initiates a software-controlled shutdown. Thepreferred method to turn on and off the printer is to use the the secondary power switch. To operate theprinter, turn on both switches. First turn on the main power switch, then turn on the secondary powerswitch.CAUTIONS:• To prevent a printer malfunction or damage to the internal hard drive, turn off thesecondary power switch first. Wait 10 seconds after the touch screen goes dark, thenturn off the main power switch.• Do not plug or unplug the power cord while the power switch is in the On position.To turn on the printer:1. Open the front door.2. Turn on the main power switch.
