6.2 IntroductionNoteSetup of documentation: Operating Manual / Online HelpThe contents for the section Topo are identical in the operating manual and online help. What is Topo? The Topo software is used in Create MyConfig to configure, display, print and compareSINAMICS topologies.Comparison topologyAn image of the SINAMICS topology is used for purposes such as:● Check the topology (wiring) of SINAMICS on the machine● Monitor module/component properties● Change module/component properties● Change DO numbers and DO names● Assign SINAMICS modules DO variables.SINAMICS modules or components are, for example, Sensor and Motor Modules.User-specified topologyInstead of using the automatic configuration, a SINAMICS Offline (reference) Topologypackage (SOT) can be specified. This variant of the device commissioning supports a step-by-step production, because modules/components and data that do not physically exist can beconfigured in the control.During series production of modular machines, generally a special version of the axis-driveassignment is specified for each machine variant to be manufactured. The objective is to split the axis-drive assignment into several modular objects in order tohandle their parameterization flexibly, irrespective of the physical design and wiring of themachine. The functional interaction of the individual axis/drive configurations must be ensuredbeforehand.Extended user-specified topologyTopo also contains the "Extended user-specified topology" in addition to the comparison anduser-specified topology. In addition to the SINAMICS wiring diagram, the "Extended user-specified topology" alsocontains NC and DRV data. The starting basis for the "Extended user-specified topology" is the archive import of afunctioning machine. After changing the topology or NC or DRV data, the result can be loadeddirectly to the NC.The "Extended user-specified topology" can be loaded directly to the control or deployed aspackage for Windows or Linux.Create MyConfig - Topo6.2 IntroductionSINUMERIK Integrate Create MyConfig - Diff, Expert, TopoOperating Manual, 12/2017, A5E36537479B-AE 449
