The primary and secondary clock sources shouldbe mounted in the bottom cabinet to ensure stable reception of clocking from theprimary and secondary sources. Regardless of position a CO PRI circuit should alwaysbe given clocking priority over T1 circuits. There are two RJ45 modular jacks on theface of the card. The settings for T1 or PRI service are selected by a bank of dipswitches as defined below (see Figure 3–18). To access the dip switches you mustremove the case by removing the 4 screws (see Figure 3–12) and splitting the case.The PRI supports NI1, NI2, AT&T No. 5 ESS, and DMS 100 offices. A maximum of 9TEPRI cards can be provided per system (3 per cabinet) unless a WLI card has beeninstalled as this card occupies a TEPRI slot.
