28Setup items LanguageSelect the display language for the web browser fromthe following.JAPANESE/ENGLISH/FRANÇAIS/ESPAÑOL/DEUTSCH/ITALIANO/RUSSIAN/CHINESE Time & DateAdjust the current time and date.Select numbers for year, month, day, hour and minute,and click the [SET] button.Important:• Recording will not be performed for around 4 sec-onds just after applying the time and date settings.• Live images will turn to black screen and recordingwill not be performed for around 4 seconds just afterapplying the time and date settings even by shiftingto/from summertime (daylight savings). Port SetupPerform the settings for the following items for eachport.[DHCP]Select ON or OFF to determine whether or not to usethe DHCP server. Select "ON" to obtain an IP address,a subnet mask and a gateway from the DHCP server.Set to "OFF" when entering the addresses above manu-ally.ON: Uses the DHCP server.OFF: Does not use the DHCP server.Important:• A different subnet should be set for each port.• When ON is selected and the recording rate settingfor "SD MEMORY REC" is configured, an error mayoccur in the process of startup of the unit when arequest to write onto the SD memory card is made.This will happen when response from the DHCPserver takes time. However, this error will be correct-ed once an address is provided to the unit.[IP Address]When "OFF" is selected for "DHCP", enter an IPaddress. For this unit, enter 4 units from the decimalnumbers (0-255) according to the network configuration.[Subnet Mask]Enter a subnet mask according to the network configu-ration when OFF is selected for "DHCP".[Gateway]Enter the IP address of the gateway according to thenetwork environment when "OFF" is selected for"DHCP".[Line Speed]The following are available for "Line Speed".AUTO: Line speed will be applied automatically.10-HALF: 10 Mbps semi duplex10-FULL: 10 Mbps full duplex100-HALF: 100 Mbps semi duplex100-FULL: 100 Mbps full duplexImportant:The line speed settings should be the same betweenthe unit and the hub.(Recommended line speed: 100Mbps-FULL)For example, when 100Mbps-FULL and 100Mbps-HALF are set for the recorder and the hub respec-tively, display/recording/playback of images may notbe performed correctly.Note:When the setup menu is closed after changing theline speed, the unit will automatically restart. Camera Auto RegistrationThe unit will search cameras and register the detectedcameras automatically. Determine how to register IPaddresses of cameras.Register the IP address automatically given by thisunit to a detected camera: When a camera isdetected, the unit will give an IP address to thedetected camera and register it.Register the IP address set with a detected camera:When a camera is detected, the unit will register theIP address of the detected camera.Notes:• When "Camera Auto Registration" is carried out, theother login users will be forcibly logged out.• Recordings currently being carried out on this unitwill stop in the process of "Camera AutoRegistration".
