Computer Interfacing21EnglishNote• Board Image Capture cannot be started whilethe Panaboard Operation Panel is displayedusing Quick Image Navigator or Panasonic-DMS.To start Board Image Capture, click [Close] inthe Panaboard Operation Panel window, thenstart Board Image Capture.• To stop Board Image Capture from startingautomatically when the Panaboard is connected,follow the steps below:1) Connect your computer and Panaboard withthe USB cable.2) Click [Start], move the pointer to Settings–Control Panel, then double-click Scannersand Cameras.• For Windows XP, click [Start] and move thepointer to Control Panel.For Windows Vista, click [Start] and movethe pointer to Control Panel, then clickHardware and Sound.3) Double-click Panaboard-UB5 USB DeviceDriver and check the Disable device eventscheck box in the Events tab.To start Board Image Capture, click [Start], thenmove the pointer to Programs–Panasonic–Board Image Capture–Board Image Capture.(For Windows XP / Windows Vista, All Programsis displayed instead of Programs.)■ Scanning with the Quick ImageNavigator / Panasonic-DMSYou can scan images on the screen to yourcomputer by operating Quick Image Navigator orPanasonic-DMS.1 Click [Start], move the pointer to Programs–Panasonic–Panasonic DocumentManagement System–Quick ImageNavigator (for Quick Image Navigator) orDocument Manager (for Panasonic-DMS).(For Windows XP / Windows Vista, AllPrograms instead of Programs.)2 For Quick Image Navigator: From the Filemenu, click Environment Setup..., clickTWAIN tab, then click Select TWAIN-compliant scanning device....For Panasonic-DMS: Click the File menu, thenclick Select source....3 Select Panaboard UB5-7 USB TWAIN Driverand click [Select].4 For Quick Image Navigator: From the Filemenu, click Acquire Image... - To ImportFolder... (or To Current Folder...), or click the(scanner) icon on the Toolbar.For Panasonic-DMS: Click the File menu, thenclick Acquire Image..., or click the (scanner)icon on the Toolbar.• The Panaboard Operation Panel appears.Note• When the Panaboard Operation Panel is notdisplayed, check the USB cable connectionor the condition of the electronic board.5 Click the (Scan) button or the(2-Screen Scan) button.• Scanning starts and the scanned image willbe displayed on the screen of the computer.It is also possible to start scanning using the(Copy Key) or (2-Screen CopyKey) on the electronic board.6 Click [Close] on the Panaboard OperationPanel to finish scanning.• For more information about Quick ImageNavigator, refer to the Quick Image Navigatoroperating instructions.• For more information about DocumentManager, refer to the Panasonic-DMSoperating instructions.Note• Dragging the Panaboard Operation Panel usingthe mouse or activating other software programsduring scanning may cause scanning troubles.
