18 SQT1211Firmware updatesOccasionally, Panasonic may release updatedfirmware for this unit that may add or improvethe way a feature operates. These updates areavailable free of charge.When this function is on, the unit will check andupdate the firmware automatically.Preparation≥ Download and start the app “Panasonic MusicStreaming” (free of charge) on yoursmartphone.≥ Connect this unit to the network. (l 7)– Make sure that the network is connected to theInternet.≥ If the network indicator is blinking in blue andred, wait for it to light up in blue.∫ To turn on the functionTouch and hold [NET] and [VOL +] for atleast 4 seconds.≥ The mode indicator blinks once.≥ To turn off the function, touch and hold [NET] and[VOL –] for at least 4 seconds.(The mode indicator blinks twice.)≥ The factory default is off.Preparation≥ Connect this unit to the network. (l 7)– Make sure that the network is connected to theInternet.≥ If the network indicator is blinking in blue andred, wait for it to light up in blue.1 Touch and hold [NET] and [ ] for atleast 5 seconds till the operationindicator (amber) starts to blink.2 While continuing to hold [NET] and[ ], touch [AUX].≥ During the update process, the mode indicator(amber) blinks slowly.3 After the update has finished, themode indicator (amber) lights up forat least 3 seconds.≥ The unit will restart and the network indicator (blue/red) blinks alternately.≥ Downloading will require several minutes. It may takelonger or may not work properly depending on theconnection environment.≥ If there are no updates, the mode indicator lights off.You can also update the firmware from a pop-upprompting you to do so on-screen within the app“Panasonic Music Streaming” (version 2.0.8 or later)(l 11).
