CABLE (TV) POWER BUTTON--The CABLE POWERbutton on the Remote Control has been designed to operateselected brands of Cable Television Converter boxes. The propercable television converter infra-red code must be obtained prior touse. (Please refer to Programming the Universal Remote forprogramming instructions.) The Remote Control TV/VCR/CABLEswitch should be in the CABLE position.I NOTE: The VCR CHANNEL UP and DOWN buttons on theRemote may be used for selecting Cable Converter boxchannels.CABLEPOWERPIP SWAP--Press the SWAP button (when the PIP frame isdisplayed) to interchange what is being viewed on the Main Picturewith that of the PIP frame.O2PIP: V1• Audio will be that of the Main Picture.VIDEO 1PIP: 02VCR CHANNELUse to select Cable BoxChannels after programmingInfra-red Code,PIP (Picture in Picture) BUTTON- This feature allowsmonitoring one channel while watching another when a secondvideo source with a tuner is connected (such as a VCR) to thetelevision.NOTE: When the Main Picture is in Video mode with no signal, Ithe PIP will not operate properly. IPIP Operation1. Turn VCR ON and select a desired channel.2. Place the TVNCR/CABLE switch into TV position.3. Press the PIP button (television must be ON). The PIP framewill appear at the position it was last displayed. The MainPicture Video Source and PIP Video Source will displaymomentarily. Audio will be that of Main Picture.4.
