(external security alarm/external setting)104External security setting switchOFF ONTurn OFF ON21How to Set the Security Alarm Usingthe External Security Setting SwitchTurning the external security setting switch will set the security alarm settings for the front door andwindows at the same time.The method to activate/deactivate the security alarm depends on the equipment installed in your apartmentbuilding and the equipment settings. Ask the company that installed the system or the administrating company.NoteClose and lock the front doorand windows to which themagnet switches are installedTurn OFF ON the externalsecurity setting switchThe alarm indicator lamp on thehandset of the door phone lights in redfor approximately 10 seconds and thesecurity alarm is immediately set.Once the security alarm is set, the alarmlamp on the base unit will light up in green.If the alarm indicator lamp on the handset of the doorphone or the base unit flashes, a window/door towhich the magnet switch was installed opens wide.Disarm the security alarm on the base unit once,completely close and lock the window/door, and then,set the security alarm again.Due to magnet's specification, the security alarm may beset without completely closing the front door or windows.Make sure to completely close and lock the front doorand windows before setting the security alarm.If the security alarm is set again using the externalsecurity setting switch after the security alarm wasset with the external security setting switch anddisarmed on the base unit, turn OFF the externalsecurity setting switch once and then turn it ON.For details about operation of the externalsecurity setting switch, contact the door lockmanufacturer or the administrating company.It is possible to play the message or thenotification sound from the handset of thedoor phone when setting the security alarm.External security door phone soundsetting (pages 61, 63 and 64).You can also use the external security settingswitch to disarm the security alarm andsecurity mode instead of the base unit.Consult with the door lock manufactureror the administrating company.Cordless handsetof the door phonewith a cameraThe alarm indicatorlighting in red (forabout 10 seconds)NoteInstallerSetting
