The purpose of the timer is toperiodically agitate the ice in the bin to preventcongealing.TIMER WITH BLINKING LEDThe LED tells the technician in which mode the timer isoperating. Rather than a jumper pin, this timer has afemale spade connector that must be connected toterminal number 6.• When this jumper is in place, the LED will blink atone-second intervals. This is the run mode.• When the jumper is open, the LED will flash every4/10ths second. This is the test mode and the timerwill cycle every 55 seconds in test mode. Rememberto replace the jumper when testing is complete. If thetimer is left in test mode it will automatically reset torun mode.When installing this timer into existing equipment, makesure to verify correct wiring of the timer. Some olderequipment may require a wiring change. Check theyellow wire from the ice dispense switch (rocking chute)to the number two terminal of the timer. With this timer,the yellow wire leaves the ice dispense switch from theNC terminal of the switch.TIMER WITH TEST PINSThe timer is equipped with test pins. This allows you totest the timer by removing the jumper between the twopins.The timer is non-adjustable and is set to agitate the icefor three seconds every three and one half-hours.Activating the dispenser will reset the timer. After 3.5hours of non-use the timer will energize the dispensermotor.To check for correct function of the agitation timer, usethe following procedure:The agitation timer is located at the front of thedispenser in the control box, on the left side of the icechute.1. Remove the jumper between the two pins.2. The timer will cycle every 55 seconds.3. If the timer does not cycle every 55 seconds, replacethe timer.4. Replace jumper after testing.1 5COM NC3264NO RED!
