This alarm also has a battery carrier tamper resist feature,which helps prevent the battery carrier from being opened.This feature is effective in preventing the removal of thebattery from this device.To activate the battery carrier tamper resist feature, removethe unit from the trim and locate the small cut-out in themiddle of the product label onthe back of the unit. With asmall screwdriver, or similar tool,slide the switch towards the topof the label.
