Boot into Windows 8 normally2. Move mouse into top right corner and click on the search icona. Search for “Settings”b. Click on Settingsc. Search for “General”d. Click on General Settings3. Choose Advanced Startupa. Click on Restart Now4. Click on Troubleshoot5. Click on Advanced Options6. Click on Startup Settings7. Click on Restart8. Choose option 79. Log in to Windows 810. Plug your KIPR Link into your computer via USB cable11. Turn on your KIPR Link12. Install the KISS IDE by double clicking the downloaded KISS-C installer and proceeding inthe same manner for earlier versions of Windows13. Search for "Device Manager"a. You should see "Gadget Serial v2.4”b. Right click on Gadget Serial v2.4 and choose Update Driver Softwarec. Then choose to search automaticallyd. A low numbered COM port is good (anything less than 100 should work fine)
