By pressing the Set button once again, youare taken back to the menu sub-item display.5.2.3 Target costVia the menu sub-item “Target cost”, you can access thesub-items:• Fuel price• Power cost• Fuel consumption• Fuel typeYou can select the sub-items using the two arrow buttonson the control panel. Pressing the Set button takes you tothe respective sub-item. By selecting the sub-item “Back”and pressing the Set button to confirm, you are taken tothe menu sub-item display once more.5.2.3.1 Fuel priceUnder the sub-item “Fuel price”, you can specify the priceof the fuels petrol or diesel in euros (EUR) and cents (ct).You can set this to a value in euros between 0 and 9 eurosand a value in cents between 0 and 99 cents by using thetwo arrow buttons on the control panel to move in 1 euro-and 1 cent-steps respectively. Once you have confirmedboth values by pressing the Set button, you are taken backto the menu sub-item display.The price information is necessary to enable calculation ofthe money and CO2 saved in comparison with the use of acar. This is displayed in the main menu of the informationarea under “Overall system savings”.5.2.2.5 UnitUnder the sub-item “Unit”, you can choose whether in-formation relating to distance travelled and speed is dis-played in kilometres (km) or miles (mi). Using the arrowbuttons on the control panel, select the option “km” or“mi”. Pressing the Set button confirms your selection andthen takes you back to the menu sub-item display.5.2.2.6 NameUnder the sub-item “Name”, you can enter a name or sometext with a maximum of 21 characters which will be dis-played when the display is turned on or off.• To write, select one letter at a time from the alpha-bet displayed using the arrow buttons and confirmyour selection by pressing the Set button. Theletter then appears in the text line above the rowof letters. At the end of the row of letters, you canselect a hyphen or an underscore and confirm bypressing the Set button.• Errors can be corrected by selecting the right-handarrow and pressing the Set button. You can onlydelete one letter each time.• You can switch between lower case and capital let-ters by selecting “abc … / ABC …” on the right of thedisplay panel and pressing the Set button to con-firm. The letters then immediately appear as lowercase or capital letters.• The use of spaces is not possible and underscoresmust be used in their place.• By selecting “OK” using the two arrow buttons onthe control panel and confirming using the Set but-ton, your entry is accepted and you are then takenback to the menu sub-item display.5.2.2.7 Factory settingsUnder the sub-item “Factory settings”, you are askedwhether you want to restore the settings which were pre-set upon leaving the factory. If you wish to do so, selectthe option “Yes” using the arrow buttons on the controlpanel and then press the Set button to confirm your selec-tion. Then you will be taken back to the menu sub-itemdisplay once more. If you select and confirm the option“No”, the amended specifications remain in effect and youare, likewise, taken to the menu sub-item display oncemore.
