You must support the serverwhile removing the front screws andwhile sliding the server off the cabinetrails. If the server is not supported,damage to the server or injury may result.1 Remove the thumbscrews through the handles that hold the server in thecabinet.2 While supporting the server, slide the server out from the cabinet.Starting your serverBefore you start your server for the first time:■ Make sure that the server and monitor are plugged into a power outletor surge protector and that the surge protector (if you are using one) isturned on.CautionWhen you connect peripheral devices tothe server, make sure that your server anddevices are turned off and the powercords are unplugged.■ Make sure that all cables are connected securely to the correct ports andjacks on the back of the server.To start the server:1 Turn on any peripheral devices connected to the server.2 Press the power button (1). The Power LED (2) lights.
