Wearing latex gloves may offera better grip.CAUTION: Before replacing youroven light bulb, disconnect the electricalpower to the oven at the main fuse orcircuit breaker panel.Be sure to let the light cover and bulbcool completely.For your safety, do not touch a hot bulbwith bare hands or a damp cloth.To remove:Turn the glass covercounterclockwise 1/4 turn until thetabs of the glass cover clear thegrooves of the socket.Using gloves or a dry cloth, removethe bulb by pulling it straight out.To replace:Use a new 130-volt halogen bulb,not to exceed 50 watts.Using gloves or a dry cloth, removethe bulb from its packaging. Do nottouch the bulb with bare fingers.Push the bulb straight into thereceptacle all the way.Place the tabs of the glass cover intothe grooves of the socket. Turn theglass cover clockwise 1/4 turn.For improved lighting insidethe oven, clean the glass coverfrequently using a wet cloth. After cleaning,rinse the racks with clean water and drywith a clean cloth.NOTE: The oven racks may be cleaned in theself-cleaning oven. However, the racks willdarken in color, lose their luster and become hardto slide if cleaned during the self-cleaning cycle.To make the racks slide more easily,apply a small amount of vegetable oil orcooking oil to a paper towel and wipe theedges of the oven racks with the papertowel.Oven rackDo not use a steel wool pad; it will scratchthe surface.To clean the stainless steel surface,use warm sudsy water or a stainless steelcleaner or polish. Always wipe the surfacein the direction of the grain.
