TheTrivection ™ Oven does not require this.Do not rub or clean the door gasket—it has an extremely low resistance toabrasion.If you notice the gasket becoming worn,frayed or damaged in any way or if it hasbecome displaced on the door, you shouldhave it replaced.To clean the inside of the door: Because the area inside the gasket iscleaned during the self-clean cycle, youdo not need to clean this by hand. The area outside the gasket andthe door liner can be cleaned with asoap-filled steel-wool or plastic pad,hot water and detergent. Rinse wellwith a vinegar and water solution.To clean the outside of the door: Use soap and water to thoroughlyclean the top, sides and front of theoven door. Rinse well. You may alsouse a glass cleaner to clean the glasson the outside of the door. Do not letwater drip into the vent openings. If any stain on the door vent trim ispersistent, use a soft abrasive cleanerand a sponge-scrubber for best results. Spillage of marinades, fruit juices,tomato sauces and basting materialscontaining acids may causediscoloration and should be wipedup immediately. When surface is cool,clean and rinse. Do not use oven cleaners, cleaningpowders or harsh abrasives on theoutside of the door. When cleaning surfaces of door andoven that come together on closingthe door, use only mild, non-abrasivesoaps or detergents applied with asponge or soft cloth.Cleaning the Oven DoorDo not use a steel-wool pad; it willscratch the surface.Shake CERAMA BRYTE® bottle well.Place a small amount of CERAMABRYTE® Stainless Steel ApplianceCleaner on a damp cloth or damppaper towel.Clean a small area (approximately8″ x 8″), rubbing with the grain ofthe stainless steel if applicable.Dry and buff with a clean, dry papertowel or soft cloth.Repeat as necessary.NOTE: If a mineral oil-based stainless steelappliance cleaner has been used beforeto clean the appliance, wash the surfacewith dishwashing liquid and water priorto using the CERAMA BRYTE® StainlessSteel Appliance Cleaner.
