The convection fan will stop when the door is opened, but theheat will not turn off.NOTE: Foods that spoil easily—such as milk, eggs, fish, stuffings, poultry and pork—should not be allowed to sit formore than 1 hour before or after cooking. Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be surethat the oven light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cook for aselected length of time. At the end of the cookingtime, the oven will turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct timeof day.Select CONVECTION.On double oven models, selectupper or lower oven.Select CONV MULTI for multi-rackconvection baking. This mode isused for cooking food items onmore than one rack (i.e., 2, 3 ormore racks) at the same time inconvection bake. See Multi-RackBaking section for more information.Select CONV 1-RACK for one rackconvection baking. This mode isused for cooking food items on onlyone rack in convection bake.Select CONVROAST for convectionroasting.Press the number pads to set thedesired oven temperature.Select OPTIONS.Select TIMED BAKE.Using the number pads, enter thedesired convection cooking time.The oven temperature and thecooking time that you entered willbe displayed.NOTE: The time countdown will not start untilafter the oven is preheated.Select ENTER. This tells the oventhat you have finished setting it.Select START.When the oven starts to heat, thechanging temperature, starting at 100°F,will be displayed. When the oven reachesthe temperature you set, 3 beeps willsound.The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shutoff automatically, unless the WARMfeature was set. See the Settings section.After the cooking time has ended, the oven willprompt the user to add “MORE TIME” to furthercook food if desired. Add additional time byselecting MORE TIME. Enter traditional cookingtime in minutes and select START. PressCLEAR/OFF pad if food has finished cooking.
