This area is not cleanedduring the self-clean cycle.IMPORTANT: The health of some birdsis extremely sensitive to the fumes givenoff during the self-cleaning cycle ofany oven. Move birds to anotherwell-ventilated room. On double oven models, you canset a clean cycle in both ovens.However, the last oven set willautomatically delay its start until theend of the first oven’s clean cycle. On double oven models, you canuse timed baking in one oven andself-clean the other at the same time.Wipe up heavy soil on the ovenbottom. (appearance may vary)How to Set the Oven for CleaningSelect FEATURES.Select SELF CLEAN. Select upper orlower oven on double oven models.Select the desired self clean.A 3-hour self-clean time isrecommended when cleaning small,contained spills. A self-clean time of4 hours or longer is recommendedfor a dirtier oven.LO (3 hrs) will self clean the ovenfor 3 hours.STD (4 hrs) will self clean the ovenfor 4 hours.ADJUST TIME allows oven to be setfor any time between 3 and 5 hours.Input the clean time (to nearest 5minutes) using the number padsand select ENTER.Select START.The door locks automatically. willflash until door is locked. The display willshow the clean time remaining.It will not be possible to open theoven door until the temperature dropsbelow the lock temperature and the(LOCK) light goes off.When the (LOCK) light goes off, youwill be able to open the door. To stop a clean cycle, press theCLEAR/OFF pad. When the (LOCK)light goes off indicating the oven hascooled below the locking temperature,you will be able to open the door.Using the self-cleaning oven.30
