Do not useany sharp items to remove the film. Removeall of the film before using the appliance forthe first time.To assure no damage is done to the finishof the product, the safest way to remove theadhesive from packaging tape on newappliances is an application of a householdliquid dishwashing detergent. Apply with asoft cloth and allow to soak.NOTE: The adhesive must be removed from all parts.It cannot be removed if it is baked on.Care and cleaning of the oven.Be sure electrical power is off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the oven.How to Remove Protective Shipping Film and Packaging TapeThe door is very heavy. Be careful whenremoving and lifting the door.Do not lift the door by the handle.To remove the door:Fully open the door.Pull the hinge locks down towardthe door frame, to the unlockedposition. A tool, such as a smallflat-blade screwdriver, may be required.Firmly grasp both sides of the door atthe top.Close door to the door removal position(see illustration).Lift door up and out until the hingearm is clear of the slot.To replace the door:Firmly grasp both sides of the door atthe top.With thedoor at thesame angle asthe removalposition, seat theindentation ofthe hinge arminto the bottom edgeof the hinge slot. Thenotch in the hinge arm must be fullyseated into the bottom of the slot.Fully open the door. Clean with mild soapand water or vinegar and water, rinse withclean water and polish dry with a soft cloth.When cleaning, the control panel should beat room temperature and not in directsunlight.Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquidcleansers, plastic scouring pads or ovencleaners on the control panel—they willdamage the finish.
