Changing the Speed of the + or – Pads (on some models)As you use the + or – pads when setting atime or temperature, you may notice the displaychanges slowly. This special feature allows youto change the speed. To set the speed you prefer,follow the steps below.Press the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo pads(on double oven models, use theupper oven controls) at the sametime for 3 seconds, until the displayshows SF.Press any + pad. The display willshow you a set speed between 1and 5.Press any + pad to increase thespeed up to the number 5.Press any – pad to decrease thespeed down to the number 1.Press Start to activate the setting andleave the control set in this specialfeatures mode.ge.com19Auto Recipe ™ Conversion (on some models)When using convection bake, the Auto Recipe™Conversion feature will automatically convertentered regular baking temperatures toconvection baking temperatures.Once the feature is activated, the displaywill show the actual converted (reduced)temperature. For example, if you enter a regularrecipe temperature of 350°F and press theStart pad, the display will show CON andthe converted temperature of 325°F.NOTE: This feature does not convert convectionbake cooking times, only regular bakingtemperatures.To activate the feature:Press the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo pads(on double oven models, use theupper oven controls) at the sametime for 3 seconds, until the displayshows SF.Press the Convection Bake pad. Thedisplay will show CON OFF. Press theConvection Bake pad again. Thedisplay will show CON ON.Press the Start pad.To deactivate the feature, repeat steps1–3 above but press the Start pad whenCON OFF is in the display.Safety Instructions Operating Instructions Care and Cleaning Troubleshooting Tips Consumer SupportYour control will allow you to lock out the presspads so they cannot be activated when pressed.NOTE: On double ovens with press padcontrols for both ovens, this activates thisfeature for both ovens.To lock/unlock the controls:Press the Hour and Min – pads orthe 9 and 0 pads (depending onmodel) at the same time for 3seconds until the display showsLOC ON.To unlock the control, press theHour and Min – pads or the 9 and 0pads (depending on model) at thesame time for 3 seconds until thedisplay shows LOC OFF.When this feature is on and the presspads are pressed, the control will beepand the display will show LOC ON. The control lockout mode affects all presspads. No press pads will work when thisfeature is activated. On models with oven knob(s), this feature isnot available for the lower oven.
