(on some models)The Sabbath feature can be used for baking/roasting only. It cannot be used for broiling, self-cleaningor Delay Start cooking.NOTE: The oven light comes on automatically (on some models) when the door is opened and goes off when thedoor is closed. The bulb may be removed. See the Oven Light Replacement section. On models with a light switch onthe control panel, the oven light may be turned on and left on.How to Set Sabbath Feature for Regular Baking/RoastingNOTE: To understand how the ovencontrol works, practice using regular baking(non-Sabbath) before entering Sabbath mode.Make sure the clock shows the correct timeof day.Press and hold both the Bake andBroil Hi/Lo pads, at the same time,until the display shows SF.NOTE: If bake or broil appears inthe display, the Bake and Broil Hi/Lopads were not pressed at the sametime. Press the Clear/Off pad andbegin again.Tap the Delay Start pad untilSAb bAtH appears in the display.Press the Start pad and ⊃ willappear in the display.Press the Bake pad. No signal willbe given.On models with number pads,press them in order to set thedesired temperature.On models with Temp + and – pads,the preset starting temperature willautomatically be set to 350°. Tap theTemp + or – pads to increase ordecrease the temperature in 5°increments. (The Temp + or – padshould be tapped for eachtemperature change; pressing andholding these pads will not allowaccurate temperature setting.) Thetemperature can be set between170° and 550°.No signal or temperature will begiven.Press the Start pad.After a random delay period ofapproximately 30 seconds to 1minute, ⊃ will appear in thedisplay indicating that the oven isbaking/roasting. If ⊃ does notappear in the display, start again atstep 4.To adjust the oven temperature, press theBake pad and enter the new temperatureusing the number pads (on somemodels) or tap the Temp + or – pads (onsome models) to increase or decrease thetemperature in 5° increments. (The Temp+ or – pad should be tapped for eachtemperature change; pressing andholding these pads will not allow accuratetemperature setting.)Press the Start pad.NOTE: The Clear/Off and Cooking Timepads are active during the Sabbathfeature.⊃⊃When the display shows ⊃ theoven is set in Sabbath.
