To return to the previous screen during configuration, press thebutton.● After you finish the setting, pressing the button returns to thescreen displayed before you pressed the button.● To undo any accidental setting changes, you can restore the camera’sdefault settings.● Available menu items vary depending on the selected shooting orplayback mode.On-Screen Keyboard● Note that the length and type of information you can enter variesdepending on the function you are using.● Touch [ ] to delete the previous character. Touching and holding[ ] will delete five characters at a time.● For some functions, [ ] is not displayed and cannot be used.● Characters can also be entered by pressing the / / / buttons toselect characters or icons, and then pressing the button. You canalso move the cursor by turning the dial. To return to the previousscreen, press the button.Indicator Display● When the indicator blinks green, never turn the camera off, open thememory card or battery cover, or shake or hit the camera. Doing somay corrupt images or damage the camera or memory card.Shooting Display Options● Press the button to show or hide shooting information or thehistogram. To customize what is displayed, access [ 1] tab >[Shooting information display].● Screen brightness is automatically increased by the night view functionwhen you are shooting under low light, making it easier to check howshots are composed. However, on-screen image brightness may notmatch the brightness of your shots. Note that any on-screen imagedistortion or jerky subject motion will not affect recorded images.Playback Display Options● Switching display modes is not possible while the camera is connectedvia Wi-Fi to devices other than printers.Quick Control Screen● Configure commonly used functions on the [ ] (Quick Control) screen.● Available setting items and options vary depending on the selectedshooting or playback mode.● You can also choose options by turning the dial.● To undo any accidental setting changes, you can restore the camera’sdefault settings.● You can also exit by choosing [ ] in the setting items and pressing thebutton.
