Use thesmartphone to browse and transfer images from the camera.Controlling the Camera via BluetoothYou can use a Bluetooth enabled smartphone for remote shooting andswitching of image display.This is convenient if you want to connect quickly while shooting, or if youwill control playback while connected to a TV.1 Prepare the camera.● Set the shooting mode and the shootingfunctions on the camera.● Keep the camera still by mounting it ona tripod or taking other measures whenshooting.2 Connect the camera andsmartphone (= 8).● Make sure that the Bluetooth connectionhas been established.● To check the GPS information acquired from the smartphone,choose MENU > [ 4] tab > [GPS settings] > [GPS informationdisplay].● GPS acquisition status is indicated by one of the following icons.[ ] Acquiring, [ ] Not acquiringControlling the Camera Remotely from a SmartphoneControlling the Camera via Wi-FiYou can shoot as you view a shooting screen on your smartphone.● Privacy settings must be configured in advance to allow viewingof all images from the smartphone (= 31).1 Prepare the camera.● Keep the camera still by mounting it on atripod or taking other measures.2 Connect the camera andsmartphone (= 12).● In the privacy settings, choose [Allimages].3 Choose remote live view shooting.● In Camera Connect on the smartphone,choose [Remote live view shooting].● Once the camera is ready for remotelive view shooting, a live image from thecamera is displayed on the smartphone.● At this time, a message is displayedon the camera, and all operationsexcept pressing the ON/OFF button aredisabled.
