GM Glass Cleaner ora liquid household glass cleaner will remove normaltobacco smoke and dust films on interior glass.See “Appearance Care and Materials” in the Index.NOTICE:Don’t use abrasive cleaners on glass, becausethey may cause scratches. Avoid placing decalson the inside rear window, since they may haveto be scraped off later. If abrasive cleanersare used on the inside of the rear window,an electric defogger element may be damaged.Any temporary license should not be attachedacross the defogger grid.If the windshield is not clear after using the windshieldwasher, or if the wiper blade chatters when running,wax, sap or other material may be on the blade orwindshield.Clean the outside of the windshield with a full - strengthglass cleaning liquid. The windshield is clean if beadsdo not form when you rinse it with water.Grime from the windshield will stick to the wiper bladesand affect their performance. Clean the blade by wipingvigorously with a cloth soaked in full- strengthwindshield washer solvent. Then rinse the bladewith water.Check the wiper blades and clean them as necessary;replace blades that look worn.WeatherstripsSilicone grease on weatherstrips will make them lastlonger, seal better, and not stick or squeak. Applysilicone grease with a clean cloth at least every sixmonths. During very cold, damp weather more frequentapplication may be required.
