4-10The Stabilitrak system automatically comes onwhenever you start your vehicle.The Stabilitrak switch,located to the right ofthe steering wheel,on the instrument panel,can be pressed to putthe Stabilitrak systemin LIMITED mode.When the switch is pressed, the STABILITY SYSTEMLIMITED message is displayed in the message center.While in LIMITED mode the stability system is lesslikely to activate. The stability system can still activate inLIMITED mode if the vehicle starts to spin, but it willnot activate as quickly as when the system is not inLIMITED mode. You should put Stabilitrak in theLIMITED mode if your vehicle is stuck in sand, mud, iceor snow and you want to “rock” your vehicle to attemptto free it.
