This feature is controlled by the on and offsettings on the automatic dimming rearview mirror.See Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror with OnStar®on page 2-37.Outside Curb View Assist MirrorIf your vehicle is equipped with memory mirrors, it willalso be capable of performing the curb view assist mirrorfeature. This feature will allow the passenger’s sidemirror to tilt to a factory programmed position when thevehicle is in REVERSE (R). This feature may beuseful in allowing you to view the curb when you areparallel parking.When the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE (R) anda five-second delay has occurred, the passenger’s sidemirror will return to its original position.If further adjustment is needed after the mirror is tilted,the mirror switch may be used.This feature can be enabled/disabled through theDriver Information Center (DIC). See DIC VehiclePersonalization on page 3-68 for more information.Outside Convex Mirror{CAUTION:A convex mirror can make things (like othervehicles) look farther away than they really are.If you cut too sharply into the right lane, youcould hit a vehicle on your right. Check yourinside mirror or glance over your shoulderbefore changing lanes.The passenger’s side mirror is convex. A convex mirror’ssurface is curved so more can be seen from thedriver’s seat. This mirror does not have a dimmingfeature.Outside Heated MirrorsWhen you operate the rear window defogger, it alsowarms both outside mirrors to help clear them of fog orice.
