Fuel can spray out if the fuelcap is opened too quickly.This spray can happen if thetank is nearly full, and ismore likely in hot weather.Open the fuel cap slowly andwait for any hiss noise to stopthen unscrew the cap allthe wayThe cap is behind a locking fueldoor on the passenger side of thevehicle.To open the fuel door, push therearward center edge in and releaseand it will open.To remove the tethered fuel cap,turn it slowly counterclockwise.While refueling, hang the tetheredfuel cap from the hook on thefuel door.If the fuel cap is not installedproperly, a message will appear onthe Driver Information Centerdisplay.
