If the word OFF or the off symbol is lit on thepassenger airbag status indicator, it means thatthe passenger sensing system has turned offthe passenger’s airbags. See Passenger SensingSystem on page 53 for more on this, includingimportant safety information.If, after several seconds, all status indicator lightsremain on, or if there are no lights at all, theremay be a problem with the lights or the passengersensing system. See your dealer for service.{CAUTION:If the airbag off indicator and the airbagreadiness light ever come on together, itmeans that something may be wrong withthe airbag system. If this ever happens,have the vehicle serviced promptly,because an adult-size person sitting in theright front passenger seat may not havethe protection of the airbag.
