Ashtray(s) and Cigarette LighterThe ashtray and cigarette lighter are located undera lid in the front console to the right of the shiftlever. Press the left side of the lid and it will openautomatically.Notice: If you put papers, pins, or otherflammable items in the ashtray, hot cigarettesor other smoking materials could ignitethem and possibly damage your vehicle. Neverput flammable items in the ashtray.Loose objects, such as paper clips, can lodgebehind and beneath the ashtray lid and preventmovement of the lid. You should avoid puttingsmall, loose objects near the ashtray.To use the cigarette lighter, push it in all the wayand let go. When it is ready, it will pop backout by itself.Notice: Holding a cigarette lighter in while itis heating will not allow the lighter to backaway from the heating element when it is hot.Damage from overheating may occur to thelighter or heating element, or a fuse could beblown.
