Outside Power MirrorsThe control on the driver’sdoor armrest operates bothoutside rearview mirrors.Press the left or right mirror symbol on the selectorswitch to choose the driver’s side or passenger’s sidemirror. The center position turns the control off sothat the mirrors will not move if the control pad istouched.Once a mirror is selected, use the arrows on the controlpad to move the mirror to the correct direction. Adjusteach mirror so you can see the side of your vehicle andthe area behind your vehicle.The mirrors can be manually folded inward to preventdamage when going through an automatic car wash.To fold, push the mirror toward the vehicle. To return themirror to its original position, push outward. Be sure toreturn both mirrors to their original unfolded positionbefore driving.If the vehicle has the memory package, the mirrors canbe programmed for personalization and curb viewassist. For more information, see Memory Seat andMirrors on page 2-52 and DIC Vehicle Personalizationon page 3-70.Outside Curb View Assist MirrorIf the vehicle has the memory seat and mirrors, it will becapable of adjusting the passenger’s mirror to tilt to apreselected position when the vehicle is shifted intoREVERSE (R). Use this outside curb view assist featureto view the curb when parallel parking.When the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE (R) andafter a five-second delay, the passenger’s mirrorwill return to its original position.If further adjustment is needed after the mirror is tilted,the mirror controls can be used.
