Always lock your vehiclewhenever you leave it.• Outsiders can easily enter through anunlocked door when you slow down orstop your vehicle. Locking your doors canhelp prevent this from happening.There are several ways to lock and unlock your vehicle.Because your vehicle has the theft-deterrent system,you must unlock the doors with the key or remotekeyless entry transmitter to avoid setting off the alarm.If the windows are down and the doors are locked,don’t reach in to manually unlock the vehicle becauseyou will set off the alarm.From the outside, use either the key or the remotekeyless entry transmitter.From the inside, use themanual lock levers locatedon the door panels nearthe windows.Push down on the manual lock lever to lock the door.To unlock the door, pull up on the lever.2-8
