Some DVDs will not allow you to fast forward or skipthe copyright or previews. Some DVDs will begin playingafter the previews have finished. If the DVD does notbegin to play the main title, refer to the on-screeninstructions, as the DVD may be displaying its maintitle menu.Stopping and Resume PlaybackTo stop a disc, press and release the stop button on theDVD player or the remote control. To resume playback,press the play/pause button on the DVD player orthe remote control. As long as the disc has not beenejected and the stop button has not been pressed twice,the movie should resume play from where it was laststopped. If the disc has been ejected, or if the stopbutton has been pressed twice, the disc will resume playat the beginning.Ejecting a DiscPress the eject button on the DVD player to eject the disc.If a disc is ejected from the player, but is not removed,the DVD player will reload the disc within 25 to 30seconds. The disc will then be stored in the DVD player.The DVD player will not resume play of this discautomatically.DVD MessagesThe following errors may be displayed on the videoscreen:• Disc Format Error: This message will be displayedif a disc is inserted upside down, if the disc is notable to be read or if the disc format is notcompatible with the DVD player. The disc will beautomatically ejected from the DVD player.• Load/Eject Error: This message will be displayed ifthe disc is not properly loaded or ejected.• Disc Play Error: This message will be displayed ifthe DVD player can not play the disc. Severelydamaged discs will cause this error. The disc will beautomatically ejected from the DVD player.• Region Code Error: This message will bedisplayed if the region code of the DVD is notcompatible with the DVD player. The disc will beautomatically ejected from the DVD player.• No Disc: This message will be displayed if thePLAY button is pressed and no disc is in the player.3-115
