PID Controller FCM Appendix A Runtime Templates232 3BUR002418-600 ABASE RESET FieldThis field specifies the base value for the reset. If no adaptive functions are turnedon, the base reset is the active reset of the FCM. When an adaptive function is turnedon, all changes in active reset due to the algorithm for that function are based on thebase reset. Valid entry is a decimal number.PREACT TIME FieldThis field specifies the Pre-act time value. Valid entry is a value set between 0 and32 minutes.INTEGRAL TYPE FieldThis field specifies the type of integral (reset) control action. Valid entries are:NONE reset response is turned off.STD reset response is turned on and is operating with the standardalgorithm. It is used with either adaptive gain or adaptive resetand/or external feedback. Manual reset must be turned off.MICROSCAN - reset response is turned on and is operating with theMicroscan algorithm. It is used with either adaptive gain or adaptive reset, butnot with external feedback. Manual reset must be turned off.LIMITED OUTPUT MODES FieldThis field specifies whether the output limits are applied to the manual output, trackoutput, and/or auto output signals. Valid entries are: NONE, MAN, AUTO,AUTO/MAN, TRK, MAN/TRK, AUTO/TRK, ALLCONTROLLER ACTION FieldThis field specifies whether the FCM output is direct or reverse acting. Valid entriesare:DIRECT - output of FCM increases as input to FCM increasesREVERSE - output of FCM decreases as input to FCM increases
