Pages should bedisplayed on channel LCD screens above the FreeAssign Area panels by selecting the appropriate MIDIsoftkey.GeneralThe system allows control of MIDI parameters via 6assignable knobs and 6 assignable switches. Theirsettings are displayed on the MIDI GUI which is laidout to reflect the positions of the knobs and switches.The MIDI port, channel and command type can beselected for each control as well as 2 parameters foreach control.GUI Upper RightThe panel at the upper right of the GUI indicates whichMIDI page of 1-24 is displayed.Clicking on Clear will select the NOTE OFFcommand and set all MIDI values to 0.Clicking on Enabled will toggle to Disabledswitching off transmission of MIDI data. Controls canbe adjusted when the Disabled flag is displayed.SETTINGS for KNOBS 1 and 2The settings for the 6 knobs are displayed on the leftand right panels in the GUI. Clicking on each field inturn going from top to bottom allows set-up andcontrol as follows:CARD (Upper field)Click on for a pop-up to select the MIDI I/O Port from1-16. There is one port per Card with a maximum of16 per system.CHANNEL (Second field)Click on for a pop-up to select the MIDI Channel from1-16.COMMAND (Third field)Click on for a pop-up to select the MIDI Commandtype.PARAMETER (Fourth field)Displays a ‘first’ Parameter depending on whichCOMMAND type has been selected.Click on to select the Parameter to the knob foradjustment, indicated by an orange highlight.PARAMETER (Fifth field)Displays a ‘second’ Parameter depending on whichCOMMAND type has been selected.Click on to select the Parameter to the knob foradjustment, indicated by an orange highlight.ENABLED [DISABLED] (Sixth field)Click on to Enable or Disable MIDI control from theassociated knob. The Parameter values can beadjusted whilst disabled. The value settings will betransmitted at the point Enable is clicked on.SCRIBBLE (Lower field)Click on for a pop-up to enter an appropriate electronicscribble name which will appear on the display abovethe associated knob.
