USING THE CONTROL PANEL 3.1933Network MenuThis menu lets you set the network interface card’s configuration .(*: the default setting)Item ExplanationConfig NetworkSet whether or not you want to configurenetwork values.If you select Yes, the following optionsare available : Config TCP, Config802.11b, AppleTalk, Netware and ConfigNetware menu.Config TCPSelect whether you want to set the IPaddress item or not.If you select Yes, the following optionsare available : IP Get Method, IP Address,Subnet Mask and Gateway menu.IP Get MethodYou can set this item only when you setConfig TCP to Yes.• Static:You can enter IP address,subnetmask, and gateway manually.• BOOTP:The BOOTP server allots the IPaddress to you automatically.• DHCP: The DHCP server allots the IPaddress to you automatically.IP AddressYou can select this item only when youset IP Get Method to Static. This itemlets you enter the IP address manually.Press the scroll button to set the value ofthe 1st byte between 0 and 255, andthen press the Enter button.For the 2nd to the 4th byte, you can setthe value in the same way.Values: Yes, No*Values: Yes, No*Values: Static*, BOOTP, DHCP |
