SOLVING PROBLEMS7.4The printerdoes not print.(continued)The printer driver maybe incorrectly installed.Reinstall the printer driver; see page 2.19.Try printing a demo page.The printer ismalfunctioning.Check the display message on the controlpanel to determine if the printer isindicating a system error.Printer selectsprint materialsfrom the wrongpaper source.The paper sourceselection in the printerproperties may beincorrect.For many software applications, the papersource selection is found under the Papertab within the printer properties. Select thecorrect paper source. See page 5.7.Paper does notfeed into theprinter.Paper has not beenloaded correctly.Remove paper from the tray and reload itcorrectly.There is too muchpaper in the paper tray.Remove excess paper from the tray.The paper is too thick. Use only paper that meets the specificationsrequired by the printer.Print job isextremely slow.The job may be verycomplex.Reduce the complexity of the page or tryadjusting the print quality settings.The maximum print speed of your printer is 24PPM (pages per minute) for A4-sized paper or25 PPM for Letter-sized paper.If using Windows 9x/Me, the SpoolingSetting may be setincorrectly.From the Start menu, choose Settings andPrinters. Right-click the SamsungML-2550 Series printer icon, chooseProperties, click the Details tab, and thenchoose the Spool Settings button. Selectthe desired spool setting.The computer mayhave insufficientrandom-accessmemory (RAM).Install more memory in your printer.
