Section 13168 Managing MailSetting HotSync Options1. Tap the Applications Launcher icon .2. Tap Mail.3. Tap the Menu Launcher icon .4. Select “Options” and tap “HotSync Options”.5. From the drop down menu, tap either “Local HotSync” or“Remote HotSync”.6. Choose the filtering option to apply during thesynchronization. The available choices are: All - Downloads all messages in your computer’s Inbox,regardless of size or number. It then sends all messages inyour phone Outbox to your desktop computer. Send Only - Send only the messages in your phoneOutbox to your desktop computer. The messages are thensent via the desktop e-mail application to the intendedrecipients. Filter - Downloads all messages in the computer’s inboxbased on a criteria. Messages are sent to the desktop usinganother specified criteria. Filters are used to limit theamount of junk mail received. Unread -Download only the unread messages from thedesktop computer. All messages in your phone Outbox aresent to the desktop computer.7. Choose from the following options: If you selected All, Send Only, or Unread, tap “OK” to exit. If you selected Filter, continue to "Working with Filters" onpage 169.
